Wow you guys. And he is the stupid one. He is clearly making a point that homosexuals don't choose their orientation by asking the unanswerable question of how you can become gay. It was to proove a point, and he did a good job.
Actually i find this to be more of a "legit" question. I feel like hes actually intelligent and making a point about how gays dont actually CHOOSE to be gay like so many people seem to think. I like this! hopefully others will understand. :) You rock dude!
hes not making a good point. by admiting that he doesnt have those kinds of feelings towards men proves that he doesnt know what the hell hes talking about and should not be taking stances on things he doesnt understand. People who think this is intelligent should listen to a gay man not a straight one to learn about their urges.
@poster above: The question didn't really say anything about gay people's urges. ^^ And it is a fairly intelligent question, because it makes people stop and think, "Hmm, how CAN you choose to be gay?" I certainly can't truly physically love one of the same gender, like how I only have the capability to love one of the opposite gender. Conversely, I know a gay person who would love to be straight because being gay has a lot of social stigma, but he can't "choose" to be straight. Sexual orientation isn't really as cut and dried as choosing to love someone of the same or opposite gender.
@^^ i agree that sexual orientation is not cut and dry which is why i think the person who posted the question does not know what hes talking about. Hes clearly taking the stance that you cant choose to be gay-which is true because its really not a choice who your attracted to. However it is quite a leap to then say that it is impossible to be attracted to someone of the same gender.
